[ Oath of Honor (A First Responders Novel, 3)] Ebook / PDF

True to form another novel with strong capable women Nothing original very Rad but enormously entertainingI o think however the series this novel appears in is misleadingIt should be part of the Honor series If you read the honor series before first responders you are missing a portion of the Honor series story before Cam and Blair join Andrew on the train campaign It s alluded to we know of the attempt on the president s life but none of the etails They re in this novel in another series First Responders What Glad I found it Now the Honor serirs is complete for ME I M A FAN OF THE HONOR SERIES I m a fan of the Honor series this one fits in nicely I really appreciate the way these character and this story melds with Cam and Blair s story Evyn and Wes are fun to read I love the intrigue in this one It s scary because it oes seem plausible Ok this book is fast paced and oesn t stop from the first to the last word Although a stand alone novel it is irectly linked to the Honor series Old friends resurface and of course we meet new friends Wes newly appointed Hijacking the Brain doctor to the president and Evyn secret service agent to the president We share their journey of selfiscovery along with them 僕のヒーローアカデミア 3-4 doing their jobs It s high octane stuff and them learning to trust each other personally as well as professionally It s a great journey and you ll feel all the emotions excitement and fear they experience Read you won t beisappointed I read Code of Honor which comes chronologically after this book back in October because the Honor series is one of my favorites Seeing that this book fits into that universe on the other The Path to Gay Rights day I had to check it out and I m now wishing I had read it first It really is just book 8 in the series and things that happen in it help Code of Honor make a lot senseAnyway that niggle aside I really liked Oath of Honor a lot Very tight story telling and it was once again very cool to see into that world behind the scenes in the secret service and also theoctors and nurses who have to be amazing in order to offer aid to the President no matter the situationWes and Evyn were strong likable leads with hot chemistry just like Loren and Skye in Code of Honor I think the Karen vs Alien distance from the core cast in the Honor series helps I love Cam Blair Paula and Rene but opening up the stories to new women gives the series a breath of fresh air The agents andifferent parts of the world we get to see the it feels like this is the realistc Bourne type counterpart to the Elite Operatives fantastical Bond stuff Rad generally oes a great job bringing characters to life but here I find them faltering Neither of the leads ever acuire that strong individual voice I expect to find I too was isappointed the book left me feeling somewhat cheated I love the Honor series I have read the first book many times and have just finished reading the whole series again I was hoping for another in the series so was really pleased when I found that a new one had been written and started when the last one left off at the wedding between the two main characters I am not sure what I expected I knew that the book idn t concentrate solely on Blair and Cam but something of the essence of the original books seems to be missing The scenes between Cam and Blair are flat and similarly there is no tension between the other two main characters The story line feels like it was something that took five minutes to make up with little in the way of build up. Navy Captain Wes Masters newly posted to head the White House Medical Unit is a physician with only one priority patient but her job is twenty fourseven Her charge is simpleensure the health and well being of the most powerful man in the worldthe president of the United States As the First Physician Wes travels by President Andrew Powell's side in the hot zone wi. Oath of Honor (A First Responders Novel, 3)To enjoy about Radclyffe s books is the erotic scenes In this book there was no lack of erotica but once again it felt like she has rushed to get this one on the shelf There were uite a few love scenes between both Wes and Evyn and Cam and Blair I just felt that there wasn t the wow factor that I have come to expect form her honor series in the pastThe story between Wes and Evyn was a little hollow there could have been background to it telling the reader about could have been background to it telling the reader about the characters got to the position they are in today I also would not have imagined either of these characters being in the positions of power that they are in and rushing into things as uickly as they id It was a little unbelievableI am not saying that it is all bad and infact as an idea I think the book is great I just think if she had spent a little time building the story and the characters it would have made for a much better read These are the sort of characters that you would expect to see the sexual tension build between them for much longer than it id Not to say that sexual tension build between them for much longer than it id Not to say that will not read another of Radclyffe s books because that would be blasphemy This is a cross over between Radclyffe s First Responders and Honor Series The main characters Wes and Evyn are the focal point but interact with Cam and Blair indeed the focus of the plot is on Cam investigating the Presidential etail so Wes is under intense scrutiny while Evyn frets about her friends in the medical team For Cam and Blair fans we get to see them living the beginnings of married life together and get lots building up their relationshipFull of action and romance and the beginnings of married life together and get lots building up their relationshipFull of action and romance and intrigue this story brings in the threat of biological warfare Navy Captain Wes Masters newly posted to head the White House Medical Unit is a physician with only one patient but her job is twenty fourseven Her charge is simple protect and preserve the well being of the most powerful man in the world the president of the United States As the First Physician Wes must travel by President Andrew Powell s side in the hot zone with everything she needs to save his life if he is injured or falls ill Her job gets even harder when she has to prove she is up to the task to Secret Service Agent Evyn Daniels a member of the elite Presidential Protection Detail and a woman who challenges Wes on than just the professional front Evyn isn t happy about inserting Wes into PPD especially when Wes gets the post Evyn believes should go to her good friend Dr Peter Chang The stakes get even higher for all involved when Homeland Security Deputy Director Cameron Roberts is brought in to investigate a possible security breach and everyone including Evyn is a suspectBeing a big Radclyffe fan I idn t read the synopsis or reviews before buying the book Having just finished reading it I have to agree with the US reviewsthe book was very We Sell Drugs disappointing to the point I felt I had to write my first review Evyn Wesidn t seem to get sufficient focus in the storyline which made them feel 2 Problem Solving in Data Structures Algorithms Using C++ dimensional the plot line was thin predictable we ve seen this all before in the Honour series There was no sexual tension between the main characters and the sex scenes appear to have beenramatically toned Literature of Africa down to the point of being superfluous I am aware that Radclyffe has previously been criticised for her style of writing and graphic sex scenesplease Radclyffe ignore these critics and return to the style most of us know and love. The elite PPD is assigned to indoctrinate the new head of the WHMU in the necessary protocols a job she wouldn't have too if the right person had gotten the job her best friend Doctor Peter Chang As they set off on the campaign trail Wes and Evyn eclare an uneasy professional truce while privately their relationship is heating up fastA First Responders Novel. And a truly laughable conclusion I mean come on an organisation that planned that far ahead and their bastardly plot is foiled so easily on an organisation that planned that far ahead and their bastardly plot is foiled so easily as an afterthought in terms of story evelopment This is not one of Radclyffe finest It was only out of my loyalty to the original series that I kept on I very nearly returned it unfinished and asked for a refund If you are expecting anything as brilliant as the original books then you will be Crossing the color line in American politics and African American literature disappointed It s okjust Another hit by RadclyffeAs soon as it waselivered I read it from cover to cover The only time I looked up from it was for bathroom stopsI m going to be re reading it over the next few Rebuilding daysI hope Radclyffeoesn t take too long writing the next book in the series This novel serves as an installment in Radclyffe s Honor series book number eight as well as in her First Responders series book number threeWes Masters is a Navy Captain Intro to Alien Invasion doctor brought in to fill in the position of Chief of the White House Medical Unit after the previous chiefied unexpectedly Evyn Daniels is a secret service agent assigned to the president s protection Therapy of Love detail Sparks fly as Evyn is tasked with assessing Wes ability to work with the secret service and adopt the uniue mentality of being responsible for only one patient s wellbeing the president s It becomes clear early on Wes abrupt arrival is a measure to stabilize the White House Medical Unit but also to help investigate an internal leak that threatens the president Can Wes put her feelings aside and carry out herutyThis was another solid installment by Radclyffe There is chemistry amongst the characters with medical undertones where this author excels action scenes and even a little suspense The training exercises are fun to read about There are fanatics that are infuriating and of course a scary prospect for euality The romance evelopment is good although we need to admit this author can efinitely offer insta love in her stories The intimate scenes though felt a little off this has been an impression since the first time I read this book There is simply a mismatch between the bedroom and the out of bedroom chemistryThis book can be read as a stand alone but there is enjoyment for those of us that have read the Honor series Blair and Cam show up on a limited role If you know them from previous books it s a treat I have to say I was even glad to see the chief of staff Lucinda Washburn make an appearanceI listened to the audiobook this time around which was narrated by Betsy Zajko I believe this was the first time I ve heard her narrate and have some mixed feelings about the performance She had some good moments but overall the narration felt choppy and flat most of the time The voices were a little too similar sometimes and it was hard to figure out who said whatOverall another successful installment to one of my favorite series 4 stars I have read most of the CamBlair storyline and have thoroughly enjoyed every oneWhen I picked this book I Museum Activism didn t know what exactly to expect I think Radclyffe hasone a good job with the story by bringing in two new characters as she really had not too many options with the old characters But in saying that I believe that this book was rushed I Don T Think That t think that has put enough time and effort into building the suspense and tension between the two lead characters in this book There was so much that she could have explored with themOne thing I have come. Th everything she needs to save his life if he is injured or falls ill Her job gets even harder when Powell embarks on the campaign trail accompanied by his high profile Narcissistic Mothers daughter Blair and shadowed by paparazzi zealots masuerading as patriots and not so peaceful protesters US Secret Service Agent Evyn Daniels a member of the president's Personal Protection Detail.
