K ALLIANCEAs the war wages the stakes get higher as the bonds between vampires and wizards growThe partnership between the wizards and the vampires was initially only meant to fight the dark wizards but now we have vampires walking in the daylight hours and couples falling in love left right and centreThe world that Ariel has developed in these books has great depth and it seems very day is a new discovery as the paranormal beings of society defy old legends and discover just how well they can work togetherThere is still too Much MF And FF MF and FF the story for my liking but that is purely my preference as it is not something I choose to read By skimming these bits I don t feel that I missed any of the storyAs magical imbalances kidnapped mortals unscrupulous dark wizards and a myriad of other problems are thrown at the new alliance there seems no uick fix to nding the war Serrier and his army always seem to stay one step ahead ven though the alliance is having luck at killing and capturing their nemiesThe story remains pretty much the same throughout all the books in this series and often there doesn t appear to be much progress made The real story for me was the relationships that developed of which there are many and this book nds on a cliff hanger for the most important one of all I m currently reading this book and I am so grossly disappointed with its contents I want to throw it in the garbage but for the fact that I paid for it Right now I am reading through nothing than a glorified rape scene between a female wizard and a Male vampire It is absolutely offensive to have that trash in a purported romance novel #But Then Again If The #then again if the believes that forced sex is a substitute for romance I believe that there is wrong with this book than just the contents I will write at the nd of this book but after the first 100 pages I would give it zero "stars if the goodreads system permitted such a rating But for right now I will give it the goodreads minimum of "if the goodreads system permitted such a rating But for right now I will give it the goodreads minimum of star I truly hope that the balance of this novel is better than the crap I have just readI am now nearly finished with this book and I have come to learn that this author is truly demented in the. Ife of uncomfortable relationships both personal and professional is threatening to tear up the Alliance from the inside despite the fforts of Alain Magnier and Orlando St Clair Thierry Dumont and Sebastien Noyer and ven Raymond Payet and Jean Bellaiche leader of the Paris vampires who is fighting to stablish a stable covenant with his own partner. ,

I m finding it very hard to xtricate this book Conflict in Blood from its series and write a succinct focused review The problem is that while there are four books in the series there is really only one story one long continuing story that was broken up into four parts Compounding the problem was my decision to read all four books back to back Which may not have been one of my brightest ideas because it feeds into the idea of
there being only
being only book In #the nd though I think it s best to look at this #end though I think it s best to look at this as one book with four very large chapters I can t imagine anyone picking up one of the middle books and making any sense of it If you don t read this series from the beginning you ll be lost and the beauty of the story will be destroyed So given all of that I ll A Certain Justice (Adam Dalgliesh, end this review with one statement Whatever I ve said in the reviews of the previous two books applies to this book as well I give Conflict in Blood four stars I usually like to read a series back to back But this time I couldn t It has been a couple of months since I read the first 2 books in this series Even so I picked right up in the story almost immediatelyAriel Tachna gives us a uniue view of vampires and sorcerers alike The partnership between the two is something I have not seen before The sex scenes although not all are scorching definitely have something here forveryone This particular book contains MM MF FF some rough play although no bondage I remember There is one instance of possible non consensual sexI become caught up in the characters as the books progress Even though Orlando and Alain are the main couple the story revolves around many of the secondary couples are uite important All are distinctly different in the way they interact with The Shadow Reader each other Each couple seems to have their own flaw or hardship to overcome With probably half a dozen couples you would think the plot would get muddled It doesn t I don t know how she does it but Ms Tachna is really good at revealing the private aspects of the couple s interactions while still moving the main plot alongI am reallynjoying this series I almost hate to read the last one because then it will be over REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOO. Seuel to Covenant in Blood Partnership in Blood Volume Three As the Alliance wizard vampire partnerships grow stronger the dark wizards feel the Cinderella Unmasked (Fairytale Fantasies effects and become increasingly desperate to findnough information to counter them unaware of the growing strain of the blood magic bonds on the wizards and vampires alike The conflict is spreading The str.
