Wrong with that and there is sex in this novel but it was so much than your typical romance novel By the end I was thinking it was kind of like Twilight for adults but I don t want that comparison to turn anyone off from reading itThis is the first book i ve read in the first book I ve read in Harleuin Nocturne collection I m getting sick of paranormal books on the whole but this despite the whole incubus subject was a nice refreshing change from other Harleuins I wish I would ve reviewed shortly after I finished it but this ll have to do I loved it Incubus is a very well written story with many different Facets That Allows The Reader that allows the reader enjoy this tale Science meets the paranormal world as we read the ourney the experiment takes Meical on Ms Jones gives us not only a sexy incubus but a woman who may have been down for the count but is definitely not dead Her will to survive as well as the compassion she shows for Meical gives this story heart This is an adventurous book that contains sex a smoking hot man a strong woman and a deadly foe Enjoy this tale well I know I didDanielleReviewer for Coffee Time Romance MoreFull Review It is no surprise that I cut my reading teeth in the realm Review It is no surprise that I cut my reading teeth in the realm horror My world had been shaped by authors such as Stephen King and Clive Barker Though I do read outside my favorite genre uite often it is seldom that I come across an author who is able to grip my imagination and pull me into their world the same way as those I grew up reading Today I now have two that I can say have done this and Janet Elizabeth Jones is one of themHer book Incubus captured my mind and pulled me into her world of thrills passion and needs There is so much this book has to offer a reader other than vampires succubae and the run of the mill sadistic humans out for revengeForemost I don t think there was one character in her story that didn t have a life of their own They all meshed together in the story but as you read you become to know each as an individual person Janet gave ust enough back story to each that it didn t bog down the forward progression of the BecomeYet when Caroline Bengal finds him abandoned in a snowy wood she senses his emotional turmoil and brings him to her desolate cabin Caroline's compassion and earthy beauty tempt the hunger Meical has desperately been keeping at bay And soon Incubus by Janet Elizabeth Jones

Ook but round out each life giving the reader a sense of intimacy with her worldTo add to all characters playing a strong role in the story her leads woven together intimacy with her add to all characters playing a strong role in the story her leads were woven together Egyptian Cotton This isn t one of those romances where it s almost eual to I m a guy you re a girl nough said Janet s lead characters had individual needs that each could provide for the other but they also contained deep seated histories that though they seemed clearly meant for each other forced them to keep a distance from their inner desires Meical and Caroline complimented each other with strong differences that proves the phrase opposites attract Yet Janet also creates aspects of them that tie them together in ways that nothing could separate them Not even themselvesIncubus took me only three days to read The writing characters story action and romantic elements kept me locked into the world of Meical and Caroline until the very end If you are looking for a world to escape to one that will make you feel like you woke from a dream in the end then I suggest you pick up a copy of Incubus TrinitySiren Book Reviews I actually really enjoyed this It would great if she made this into a series Well I really wanted a paranormal romance with an incubus main character because they really seem to go perfectly hand in hand don t they But I m thinking maybe this wasn t the book for me Meical convincing Caroline to have sex with him via dreams or directly influencing her emotions was too non con for me too much like actively subverting her will rather than passively like through incubus attraction or something I chose not to read the full book This book was a first for me by this author I think she only has one other book At first I didn t care for it I couldn t put my finger on it so kept reading I m glad I did I ended up enjoying Incubus a lot and hope the author keeps going with what could be a good series I did have a problem with some of the story line and felt that Jones could have put facts into the story build it up a little With all that said I still think its a good rea. Eical is visiting Caroline's dreams seducing his prey while she sleepsBut another predator has set his sights on Caroline with sinister intentions If Meical is ever to reveal his true nature to Caroline he'll have to earn her trustand keep her ali. ,
Janet Elizabeth Jones has a uniue writing voice which I respect I started reading with the intention of only taking half an hour and wound up unable to put it down until I was than halfway through the book The heroine Caroline is strong smart and a Real Fighter The Hero Meical Is Complex And Engaging I fighter The hero Meical is complex and engaging I the storyMy only complaint was that the ending felt overcomplicated to me and thus not as strong as the rest of the plot I was also surprised that Meical s past and issues Were Sort Of Forgotten sort of forgotten in the second half of the book I would have liked to have seen his past and as a vampire he has a long one create intimacy between him and Caroline That would I would ve given this book four stars if the theme in it hadn t revolved around Meical deceiving her in her dreams so often This genre of book isn t my particular cup of tea I will say in the writer s defense she does have a way of painting a picture Having mentioned that there were some very steamy love scenes where I almost felt like a voyeur while reading I don t think I ll read any romance novels going forward Though if Janet Jones decides to start writing in another genre I ll probably pick up a copy of her book An incubus is a male demon who has intercourse with sleeping women that s definitely what goes on in this novel but I couldn t classify it as rape at all Basically what you ve got is Meical which I think is pronounced Michael but looks like Medical without the d so that s what I was reading as I went along haha who was a vampire He is given a secret herbal mixture to turn him into an Incubus and shortly thereafter saves the life of Caroline who was supposed to be killed by some evil men due to her involvement in a child psychology case A real plot I don t normally review Harleuin novels but this one was so different from any one I ve ever read It had a real honest to goodness intricate plot lots of characters who were well developed and none of that traditional Harleuin He loves me I love him but I won t admit it oh what the hell let s have sex Not that there s anything. To save his kind Meical Grabian agrees to participate in a dangerous experiment One that takes his vampire's thirst for blood and leaves him hungering for something new An incubus can be sated only with passion but what woman could love what he's. .
